This restoration of Len Lye's 1963 sculpture "Loop" from the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago was a longstanding ambition of the Len Lye Foundation. Inactive since the 1960s, "Loop" is one of only six currently identified sculptures by Len Lye in North American collections. In 2019 it returned to display in Museum Tinguely's exhibition "Len Lye: Motion Composer". Aspects on this restoration were discussed in a text included in the Getty Conservation Institute's "Keep in Moving?" publication.
